The Strafford Shakespeare festival is an annual celebration of the stories written by William Shakespeare.  The idea to do a parade was proposed to our group to celebrate his play, Hamlet.  The large river that runs through the fairgrounds seemed to be a good center to put a floating parade that would showcase how Hamlet has affected storytelling around the world.  My position in this team of 5 was show writer and concept artist.
